The
EWS 3000 system is a centralized communications
and data module. It will provide complete tractor-trailer
communications and controls via a satellite or
cellular communications link to the home office.
Safety, Security and access to all the information
on a vehicle or any other equipment on a truck
can be performed. All Software functions are designed
to be remotely controlled from the home office
but can also be made available to the driver too.
The EWS 3000 combines the input/output control
functions with several serial ports for customer
communications and data transfer. The unit interfaces
to RS232, RS485 and J1708 communication protocols
to transfer messages between the cab or trailer.
Cab to Trailer Communications is performed using
PLC4Trucks, Power Line Communications with no
new wires.
The electronic serial number on a cab and on the
trailer will simplify your asset management. Equipped
with a wireless link and battery, an untethered
trailer can transmit its exact location directly
into a computer data base. It even has a low cost
sensor network for cargo temperature, door status,
air pressure readings and more. This system is
compatible with ALL ABS brakes and any other PLC4Trucks
equipment. Meets all SAE Standards.
